JULY 18TH MEETING
We will have Les Carlyle, a World War II Marine, talk to us about four WW II Battles:  Noi-Namur, Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima. He will give us a brief overview and his personal recollections of each battle. Les is an interesting speaker and should impress you.

Les has also decided to join the Chapter.  He has participated the last two  years as a WW II Marine in the Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade.  He also participated in the recent Living History Day at the Nole Indian School.  Les is a former commandant of the local Marine Corps League.

WEBSITE
We have a pretty neat site  which is full of information for both our members and visitors.  It even tells us the dates of our meetings and activities.  It posts our newsletters and photos  of our events,  You can download a membership application.  It even provides our mailing address and chapter telephone contact.

The site also reminds us of our Mission Statement which we encourage every member to read.  It is what we are all about.
